TrackWrestling charges recurring dual meet and tournament software access fees. MatTime offers a flat $199.99/year for a single squad (with assistant pass included, saving ~$500/yr) or $499.99/year for comprehensive multi-squad high school programs covering Varsity, JV, Freshmen, and Middle School with unlimited coaching staff seats and zero proprietary hardware mandates (saving $1,500–$2,800/yr).
Do parents or spectators ever have to pay to watch live dual meets?
Never. MatTime live scoreboards, match clocks, bout brackets, and YouTube Live video streams are 100% free for all parents, grandparents, and fans with zero paywalls, zero account mandates, and zero FloPRO subscriptions.
Does MatTime require an iPad or specific tablet hardware?
No. MatTime runs directly in modern web browsers on any device — iPads, iPhones, Android phones/tablets, Chromebooks, MacBooks, and Windows laptops. Coaches and table workers can score matches from any touch screen.
Can coaches and scorekeepers operate MatTime hands-free using an AI voice assistant?
Yes! MatTime features an AI Assistant and OpenAPI 3.1.0 engine allowing coaches and table workers to run scoring, match clocks, official timeout timers (injury, blood, recovery), and bullpen bout staging hands-free using natural voice, Siri, or ChatGPT Custom Actions. Coaches can also update records, bump weights, run the AI Lineup Chessboard, and pull post-meet recaps on the go. Spectators enjoy 100% free voice queries to check match status, mat assignments, and gymnasium directions.
